Turn Cabin Fever into Giving Fever

Recently the Madison area has been hit with a ton of snow – somewhere around 30″ so far.
All of this snow can keep us cooped up inside which is when “cabin fever” may begin to rear its ugly head.

Let me offer a great solution to combat cabin fever…I call it “giving fever”.

Here’s an example from my life:

On Friday, Dec. 19, Madison was hit with about 9″ of snow so my wife and I stayed home with our kids. We decided to go through our closets and basement and ended up gathering over eight boxes of used clothes and other items to donate. We took them to St. Vincent De Paul.  We know they will be a blessing and we are already blessed through giving.
This year when you feel “cabin fever” coming on go find something to give to someone in need and you too will experience “giving fever”.
